Bred to jump, but this mare is all dressage.  Big & bay, she has “the look” we all want in the dressage ring.  Her basic paces will take your breath away-she is a dancer and has stunning power behind. She needed extra time to grow up, no reason to rush perfection, and so spent a couple of years serving as a broodmare, on the trail and being worked from the ground.  Just getting formal under saddle work, she is proving to have talent for the big time. She is schooling Training level, but after just six weeks, is already learning to lengthen stride, leg yield, reinback, counter canter, and change leads through the trot.  Ruth will compete at the upcoming Color Country Equestrian Club Dressage Show on October 13 in Training Level.  She has a really fun personality-hide your brushes! She is owned and bred by Patty Arnett.  This mare is for sale.  Great for the ambitious & experienced amateur or aspiring trainer, get her now and train her your way.

Oct 11/2007 Ruth participated in the clinic with Gail Alterwitz.  We further developed leg yields, and further developed Ruth's natural lofty gaits. Her floppy ears and clear pleasure in moving her supple body in balance couldn't help but remind me of Rocher. Ruth will attend the CCEC Dressage show this weekend where we will challenge Training Level Test 1.

Feb 11/2008 Ruth has been sold, but Ruth's younger half-brother, Randy, will begin with me in February 2008.  Look for details, photos, & videos to come. Sure to be another athlete, he will also be offered for sale.

Wanda

2003 NAWPN mare 16.2hh
owned and bred by Patty Arnett
By Arthos

Wanda spent six weeks with me for her basic walk, trot, canter fine-tuning.  She will work on the trail string for a little while so she can grow up a bit more and see the world.  Wanda is an in your pocket kind of girl, cute, round, nicely conformed, and smart as a whip.  She will make some young aspiring hunter or equitation princess very happy some day.

Uson

Uson is one cool cat.  His natural balance, impeccable manners, and flashy gaits will set him apart.  He is the epitome of all that his sire embodied: brains, brawn, and style. While his eyes & forelock will melt your heart, his work ethic and good sense will win your mind. He is keen to jump, and will have what it takes to get the solid scores in Dressage.  This horse is will be shown at the upcoming Color Country Equestrian Club's dressage show on October 13 at First Level. Uson is schooling counter canter, simple changes, turns on the haunches, reinback, medium gaits, shoulder-in, travers, renvers, flying changes and half pass at trot and canter.   No diva, this horse trail rides, too.  He is owned & bred by Patty Arnett.

*Newsflash:  Uson competed at the CCEC Open Show on September 29. This was his first show. He earned first place in the 1st Yr Green Hunter classes. He earned second place in the Hunter Hack class against a tough group of 8, defeating well-seasoned school masters in the process.  He was 5th place of 8 in an equally tough field of the Open Equitation class, correctly performing a pattern equivalent to second level dressage.

Oct 11/2007 Uson participated in the clinic with Gail Alterwitz.  We furthered his development of shoulder-in, simple changes, leg yield, and collected trot & canter.  Gail loved his talent and good looks.  We look forward to putting this clinic to the test at the CCEC Dressage show this weekend where we will challenge First Level Test 1.  Uson will also attend as an alternate to the Bill Woods clinic in South Jordan the last weekend of October.

Stella

Stella1997 Freisian mare by Doeke
owned by Jennifer Campos.

Stella has very good gaits and a super temperament.  She is a steur mare, and is confirmed in foal to the legendary Goffert, due mid-late June.  She is well-conformed, an easy breeder(first cycle frozen), and has the kind of pedigree to make your breeding program one of the best.  She is also trained to Second Level, schooling Third Level, and lots of fun to ride, so she may also be a prime candidate as an embryo donor mare who could stay under saddle.  Or just keep her foal, sure to be a knockout, and learn the ropes on her before you bring her baby along yourself.
